The Coffs Harbour Chamber of Commerce has again signed up to participate in this year’s C.ex Community Sleep Out and has committed to raise some much needed funds for two local charities that assist those who are homeless or don’t have a safe place to call home!
 

Often, through no fault of their own, individuals and families are facing crisis situations that leave them mentally, physically and financially at risk.  Whilst we all have a choice, many don’t, and they have ‘no choice’ but to end up living on the street!
 

Without support, these situations can quickly spiral out of control so the Chamber's committee have once again committed to go without the usual luxuries of a warm bed on the night of Wednesday, June 19 and instead will be sleeping out, in a box, in the cold with just a pillow and blanket! 
 

100% of funds raised will be distributed to the Warrina Women & Children’s Refuge and the Men’s Resource Centre. These two local Coffs Harbour charities provide services to Coffs Harbour residents who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
 

We would be very appreciative of your support and kindly ask your consideration for a small donation of $5 or $10 (or any denomination, it all helps) that will go towards those in need!
 

All donations of $2.00 or more are tax deductible and with the EOFY upon us, it’s a great time to Pay it Forward and give a little back! A receipt will be generated at time of donation and 100% of funds raised goes to the C.ex Community Sleep Out’s nominated charities.
